Got a quick question for you. I’m going to get my hair done next week and my question is do I bring a Christmas gift for my hair stylist. I’m not going to lie but my hair costs a pretty hefty penny and I honestly go once a month so I feel like I’m giving her a pretty good gift including tip but I don’t want to be rude.
Thanks for the help.
No need to worry — you’re not being rude by showing up to your appointment sans gift. A Christmas present for your stylist is appreciated, but not required.
Still, since you’re coming in right before the holiday, it would be nice to bring her something small and thoughtful. You might consider:
- A pretty poinsettia
- Homemade Christmas cookies (my rosemary shortbread is yummy and quick)
- A bottle of wine
- A $10 Starbucks gift card (which works well tucked inside a regular Christmas card)
- Hot cocoa mix ($7.50) or candy ($8.99)
If you choose not to bring your stylist a gift, be sure to wish her a very merry Christmas and thank her for taking such great care of your hair.
By the way, I love getting all these seasonal questions. If you’re waiting on an answer, be sure to check back. I’ll try to post as many as I can before the big day…
Have a haute holiday!
